VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebrations

Friday 8th May marked the 75th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe. We found lots of different ways to mark the occasion...

Those of us who were in school on Thursday marked the occasion too...

Captain Tom Moore celebrated his 100th birthday on 30th April. So far he has raised over £32 million for NHS charities. We salute you, Captain Tom!

According to tradition, William Shakespeare was born and died on 23rd April...

St George's Day is also celebrated every year on 23rd April...

The 22nd April was Earth Day and the Woodland Trust encouraged people to draw trees to mark the occasion. Some of you took up the challenge. Well done!

It was the Queen's 94th birthday on Tuesday 21st April. Happy Birthday, Ma'am!
